Completed one ccm maintenance on air handler heat pump i checked thermostat operations checked zoning system. Did not change 20x20x1 filter customer just did, fresh one was left in attic. I checked emergency heat kit amps and blower amps. I checked Overall cleanliness of system as well as blower. Outside I checked capacitor mfd defrost operations fan motor amps and Freon levels in heating mode. System operating normally. System was clean but I recommended air purifier system such as iwave or uv light to keep it clean, customer said he’d consider.
Thermostat on site was not working correctly. Replaced old thermostat with a new one. System is now operating correctly. Warranty, no charge.
I performed a service call on a single heat pump air handler I checked all electrical components and checked the temp rise and checked the Freon levels and checked the capacitor everything is in good working order at this time there is nothing wrong with the unit they had the thermostat on emergency heat so once it was put on regular heat everything was working fine.

Arrived at start up unit was not on pressure put on pressure there was leak checked joints with soap and filter drier determined leak was outside checked joints again with soap could not find leak at joints brazed over joints again, still leaking Heard leak coming from inside wall took lineset cover off and cut sheet rock behind it sprayed bubbles could not find anything penetrating lineset but clearly became more audible once sheet rock was cut, and bubbles were coming down from inside tried to get lineset pulled through wall, couldn’t without damaging further as lineset was already kinked.
Found low voltage short in the blue wire to the outdoor unit. Had to replace blue wire with green wire, only at outdoor unit and in airhandler. Informed customer that getting on the maintenance plan if they are not already is very important to do. Without joining the maintenance plan customer will no longer have any labor warranty.
I performed a CCM on one system I checked the blower motor, also looked at the voltage and make sure that everything is good. I also change the filter 20 x 25 x 5
During heating maintenance immediately found burnt/locked up inducer motor due to smell emitting from furnace upon walking into basement. Customer to be quoted on new 90% furnace.
