TempleGA30179 33.72-85.0075First visit service check on new furnace we purchased last year from Comfort Solutions. Yearly maintenance cost well worth a 10 year warranty extension on the furnace and for 2 service checks a year. Justin Lewis was the service tech and was on time, very courteous, personable and knowledgeable. Thanks, would recommend to friends and family
TempleGA30179 33.7-84.99Completed one system ccm maintenance on air handler heat pump, i checked thermostat operations, and zoning system i did not change filter as it was good at this time. Fresh one was left with customer. I checked emergency heat strip amps and blower amps, all within range. Checked overall cleanliness of unit and blower as well. Outside I checked capacitor mfd fan motor amps and Freon levels system operating normally at this time. Could not let customer know I was finished as she locked both doors and removed ring doorbell, pics uploaded to ST.
Customer showed me videos of return air making loud noise on main level and could hear blower on upstairs level, I checked zoning operations and dampers to make sure they were opening all the way. They were good, I turned down blower speed and sound on both levels improved. Checked Freon levels outside, it was already very hot inside home but everything was within specifications, system is operating normally at this time.
Completed one system ccm maintenance on air handler heat pump i checked thermostat operations and zoning system. I checked emergency heat kit amps, and blower amps. I did not change filter homeowner already had, a fresh one was left with customer. homeowner mentioned come night time temperature In master bedroom would drop significantly compared to other areas of home, i checked dampers and ductwork and everything was fine, attic was also well insulated recommended leaving bedroom door open to help air circulate better. If it doesn’t improve will have to find a solution. Outside I checked defrost operations, fan motor amps, capacitor mfd, and Freon in heat mode. System operating normally at this time.

Completed one ccm maintenance on air handler heat pump, i checked thermostat operations, and turned to emergency heat mode. Changed 1 20x20x1 filter, Checked zoning system checked amps for heat strips, checked blower amps as well. I checked the overall cleanliness of cabinet and blower, system was pretty clean. I checked Freon levels in heating mode, fan amps, capacitor mfd and defrost mode. All within system specifications. Was informed of a noise at night when in heating mode, could not find source of the problem as all mechanical ran to the other side of the house, away from room she described hearing it from, and all ductwork was in intact. Also informed homeowner that she might want to get ahead of any organic growth forming inside air handler, and have UV light installed informed me she will more likely get that once we come for cooling maintenance, other than that system performing normally at this time.

2020 Rheem heat pump is working properly, customer stated that he was hearing vibration from the crawl only issue I found was the line set touching the pvc drain for home which is now corrected, customer also mentioned a dirty sock smell I made customer aware that occurs when switching from heat to cool throughout the day and the only solution to that is a UV light or iwave ionizer for air handler which he will think about. 16x20x1, pics uploaded. Customer also signed up for the monthly membership
