During today’s visit the customer had three systems that needed to be checked out. None of the systems are producing cooler. There are two furnaces in the attic dedicated to the main floor and the upstairs floor. There is one air handler in the basement which is a heat pump unit dedicated for the basement area. I found the circuit breaker turned on for the main floor furnace unit, but did not find 120 V at the furnace unit. I found the furnace cut off switch for the main floor is open circuit, damaged internally. Replacement of the cut off switch is recommended at this time. Until the fault is fixed, I I am unable to diagnose any problems with that system. For the upstairs furnace unit in the attic, the outdoor unit runs, but the furnace control board is not calling for the blower fan to turn on. I recommend replacing the control board on the upstairs furnace unit. On the downstairs air handler unit, I found the Air handler runs but the outdoor unit does not. I found the compressor sho
One time maintenance/tune up completed in Stone Mountain Ga.
Performed inspection on air handler unit inside attic, treated the drain line and change the filter, checked blower motor amps, performed inspection on outdoor condensing unit, checked refrigerant and capacitor, checked fan and compressor amps and also washed the unit . Unit is performing as it should’ve this time.
System not cooling service call completed in Stone Mountain Ga
Both systems were not cooling because roofers turned off breakers to AC’s while working. I turned breakers on and systems are now cooling properly. Customer will be calling us around June for the cooling visit
Replaced UV lights and performed an AC maintenance in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
