Front left hand unit if facing building from outside, operates front kennel and grooming area. Customer stated that up until about a few days ago the unit was maintaining temperature but over the last few days by mid day and late in the day that system was failing to keep temperature and temperature has been rising by several degrees. Technician found that the furnace blower door was not in place causing primarily hot attic air to be pulled into system. Furnace is very aged and doors must be taped/sealed to prevent them from falling off of furnace. Replacing the 20 x 25 x 1 filter on this system is quite difficult because there is not a proper filter rack and each time filter is changed tape must be cut and removed and replaced to reseal system. Technician suggests that a proper filter rack be installed and the best opportunity would be during furnace replacement. At This time technician sealed furnace and left a roll of tape so that it can be resealed after regular filter changes.
