When arrive, found no power to outside unit. Reset breaker on the inside unit running fine. unit shut off again. Pull the cover off the panel on the inside. Found breaker burnt up in panel. Replaced breaker with new breaker. Installed two blank on panel box door. Move breaker down to new spot in panel.
I checked all electronic components. Found nothing burn. Check zone dampers everything is operation as it should smell. No smoke in the ductwork. Customer stated AT&T smoke detector was only one went off. All the rest of the smoke detectors. Did not go off in the house. Possible glitch in AT&T smoke detector.
Put new TXV on Inside unit. Pressure check. Vacuum unit down to 500 µm. Started unit up. Left thermostat at 72.
Dumped all Freon. Recharge with new Freon. Unit running as it should. Pressures 130/299.
Found TXV to be bad, we need to replace under warranty. Also there is water or air in the refrigerant. We will need to come back and pull a vacuum then recharge it.
Taped and sealed return plenum at air handler. Warranty
Warranty new construction Found system empty no refrigerant. Solder void at filter dryer before evaporator coil. Made necessary solder repairs. Pressure tested, pulled deep vacuum and re-charged system to manufacturers specifications.
The downstairs out door copacetic has failed at this time. I changed it out system came on and started to operating like it should be at this time it was a 70+5 mfd they have a year warranty from to day for the capacitor
Performance inspection on air handler unit inside the attic, treated drain line and checked blower motor amps. Performed inspection on outdoor condensing unit, checked refrigerant levels and capacitor, checked fan and compressor amps. Rinsed outdoor unit I also washed the out door system. Unit is performing as it should at this time.
