Performed inspection on furnace and coil inside attic, changed 16 x 25 by one filter and clear drain line, check the blower motor and exhaust fan amps, triggered safety switches and checked all low-voltage connections, removed and inspected burners and igniter stick, cleared pressure tube and inspected exchanger condition, checked temp rise and drop, checked refrigerant levels and all electrical components on outdoor condensing unit, the unit is clean and running to specifications at this time. Customer is becoming comfort me ever on yearly membership.
Performed heating maintenance on one furnace unit inside the attic, cleared drain line and changed 16 x 25 by one filter, cleaned burners and sanded igniter, cleared pressure tubing, checked blower motor and exhaust fan amperage is, the system is heating properly at this time.
I put two ponds of 407c the in the system is cooling and operating like it should be
Replaced filter A 16 x 20 by one filter is located at base of furnace and is very difficult to replace. A standard filter rack was not utilized rather a 20“ x 1“ slot was cut in the side of the furnace and when you are trying to change the filter it hits the bottom of the blower wheel. Installing a proper filter rack would be beneficial for future ease of filter replacement. Operating pressures today with system defrosted are good. 130/374 8° of superheat and 12° of subcooling. System is cooling. Most likely thermostat temperature was set to an abnormally low position during cooler outdoor weather caused system to freeze. Recommend not setting thermostat lower than 68°.
Performed inspection on two Rheem furnace is inside attic, change to 16 x 25 by one filters and clear drain lines, check the blower motor amps and all electrical components inside of furnace, cleaned burners and flame sensor, checked for furnace operations and they are operating normally at this time.
The system is frozen up could not do anything to the system no charge at this time
