HVAC Technician Jason Jordan
Jason Jordan has been a professional HVAC Technician, specializing in heating and air conditioning maintenance and installation services in the Metro Atlanta area since 2002. He is a licensed HVAC contractor who puts customer service at the premium focus of his enterprise. When he ventured head-first into launching Comfort Solutions in 2009, Jason knew he wanted his company to be different. He knew that he obviously wanted his company to grow and thrive, but he wanted to ensure that regardless of success, that he and his employees would always hold to the grass-roots, customer-first principles that Jason was raised on, and that he carried into his professional life.
Sure, Jason could obviously begin his business in the manner that he wanted it to be conducted. This was easy in the beginning because he was the primary HVAC Technician. But as the company grew, he needed to set up a sense of precedence, so that the company could grow and thrive in the direction he had always dreamed of. He began by offering 100% satisfaction guarantees. He also offered Free Estimates. He offered better-than-standard services at lower-than-standard prices, and he insisted on complete customer satisfaction.
You see, Jason holds tightly to old-fashioned principles, such as being personable and polite to those he meets, and doing an honest day’s work, every single day that he works. He held tightly to the principle of leaving his customer’s homes or businesses in equal or better condition than he found it in. Jason strove to always consider what his customer truly needs, as opposed to simply fattening his wallet. If his customer did not need a new HVAC system, Jason did not try to steer them towards one. If he knew a smaller unit would be the perfect performer for a new customer HVAC system, he would recommend exactly that unit.
It could have been challenging to instill those same principles into his valued employees. How could he ensure, as his business grew, that the fine technicians wearing his logo would conduct themselves like he would, especially if he wasn’t right there? Then he thought of all the other HVAC companies, and how many of them utilized a commission-based pay scale, or separated a sales team from a team of actual technicians. This route of conduct, Jason felt, was surely a recipe for backstabbing, shortcutting, and cutthroat competition between his technicians. And the most unfortunate casualties of this conduct would indeed by the people that Jason most wanted to protect, his most valued customers. So Jason Jordan decided that his brood of HVAC Technicians would be paid a fair, salaried rate for their time worked, and not have to sling HVAC commissions everywhere just to make a living. And he vowed to treat his employees fairly, not just in monetary means, but in training them adequately to be both the technician and the sales personnel. Jason figured that if you start with the right people, pay them a fair wage, treat them with respect, and train them adequately for what they are tasked with, those right people would hang around. And they would tell other right people that there was still a modern business that treated people with old-fashioned respect and honesty. That’s how Jason treats his people. In turn, that’s how Jason’s people treat Comfort Solutions customers.
No job is complete until you, our valued customer, are completely satisfied!
